Figma
Figma moved their headquarters into four floors of the iconic Phelan Building in downtown San Francisco. The client tasked The Collective with sourcing new and reusing existing furniture that matches their high-design, eclectic style. Their new headquarters was refreshed, upgraded, and accessorized to elevate the design of their workplace.
The Figma project is a unique project utilizing existing workstations from the previous tenant, repurposing beloved pieces of furniture from Figma’s previous building, and blending new ancillary furniture to make the interior spaces warm, inviting, invigorating, and fun.
The project schedule was orchestrated between the general contractor and The Collective like a delicate ballet of furniture teardown, staging on swing floors, and ultimately removing the last floor of furniture from the job site. All while carpet was being pulled up, concrete polished, ceiling grid and doors painted, floors and columns painted, new carpet installed, and then swiftly delivering furniture for installation.
The Collective was delighted to design and provide accessories such as custom bookshelves and display shelves, area rugs, throw pillows, coffee table books, library books, vases, bowls, and other décor to add the final touches to the colorful spaces.
