The Collective worked alongside Parallel 45 Design Group Ltd. to furnish Alphawave Semi’s new location in Ottawa, a leader in high-speed connectivity for the world’s technology infrastructure. The project includes an impressive 20,000 square feet of meticulously planned, collaborative workspace, reflecting modern ways of working.
The working space features 104 Teknion Expansion Cityline Height Adjustable Workstations, each equipped with a whiteboard desk edge screen for enhanced functionality and creativity.
There are a variety of open collaboration spaces designed to cater to diverse work styles, ensuring a seamless flow of ideas and teamwork. The Cityline EZ fence with planters and Keilhauer seating, creates a refreshing and collaborative environment. In another area, a semi-enclosed space features the modern touch of Teknion Kiosk Media, providing a balance of openness and privacy for focused discussions and brainstorming sessions. Additionally, the Teknion WithIn post and beam structure from Teknion Architectural Interiors, adds an architectural highlight that merges contemporary design and function.
For those seeking more privacy and a quiet environment, the SilenSpace MAX offers a perfect solution, accommodating up to four people comfortably. The C+D conference table brings an artisanal focus back into the executive boardroom paired with Studio TK Jima seating.
The office design features a large community-style lunchroom and lounge, ideal for hosting office and industry events, while also promoting a sense of community among team members.
Throughout the floor, 11 well-equipped meeting spaces are thoughtfully arranged, with some remarkable areas furnished with Studio TK, adding an element of elegance, comfort, versatility, and collaboration to the overall office environment.
