A growing company with successful launches across North America, the UK, Southeast Asia, and the Asia Pacific, sought a workspace that reflects their achievements. They wanted an environment that embodies their fun, relaxed culture while staying true to their identity. The Collective worked to design and furnish their new 11,047 square feet downtown Toronto office. The result is a space that thoughtfully embodies this technology company's brand and supports a flexible, activity-based workplace for their growing team.

Completed in March 2024, we installed this project in a single phase which includes 54 reconfigured existing workstations, 12 new Teknion workstations, 12 meeting rooms, a boardroom, a café, 2 lounge areas and a wellness room. The Collective has curated a diverse selection of ancillary furniture from reputable brands such as Teknion, Studio TK, Spec, SitOnIt, Gus Modern, BluDot, Allermuir, Division Twelve, Rouillard, NaughtOne and Source International for various seating, workstations, and tables throughout the workspace.

While the installation was completed in a single phase, we encountered some minor delays due to manufacturing and vendor schedules. Our top priority was to ensure that all critical elements were ready on time for the employees’ return to the office. We promptly addressed any remaining details through follow-up visits, and our strong partnerships with manufacturers and installers helped us effectively manage and minimize additional costs. This collaborative approach allowed us to deliver a high-quality result while keeping the experience positive and stress-free for the client.

The space features vibrant yellows, reds, pinks, purples, and fuchsias, reflecting the technology company's energetic branding and fun culture. The Collective paint matched meeting table legs to some Benjamin Moore swatches to get just the right tones to match their branding. Since most of the work surfaces were refurbished, the project primarily focused on creating inviting lounge areas and vibrant open workspaces.
