Electronic Arts: Vancouver
Electronic Arts ("EA") is a global leader in digital interactive entertainment, recognized for a portfolio of critically acclaimed, high-quality brands such as EA SPORTS™ FIFA, The Sims™, and Madden NFL.
The Collective worked alongside Māk Interiors to furnish EA’s new office location. The office boasts a four-story, 120,000 square foot, LEED Platinum certified building. The building is Vancouver's first large-scale mass timber office building. Smart lighting, air-control systems, and a design maximizing natural light make it 70% more energy-efficient than standard offices. Its rooftop patio offers panoramic mountain and park views, adding to its green appeal.
In a strong collaborative effort with General Contractor Turner Construction and our Teknion-certified local installation partner, The Crew Office Services, we efficiently installed over 600 systems furniture pieces and ancillary products within the span of six weeks.
We swiftly managed a tight project schedule by implementing daily morning meetings with clear goals for the week ahead. This proactive approach and our strong sense of teamwork ensured that the project stayed on track without any deviations.
Our product solutions have been carefully designed to foster EA's agile workplace, supporting their return to work and new work approaches. These solutions also ensure maximum flexibility for future-proofing interiors, setting the stage for a dynamic and adaptable work environment.
The Collective has curated a diverse selection of furniture from reputable brands such as Teknion, Studio TK, and Gus Modern in boardrooms, open collaborative areas, and huddle rooms, all contributing to the enhanced functionality and aesthetic appeal of the new office space. The building's interior showcased charming wood-beam details and expansive spaces, creating a welcoming and tranquil atmosphere. Inviting huddle areas were scattered throughout, enhanced by the clever incorporation of exquisite carpeting. The deliberate application of vibrant colors on cabinets and ancillary items added a delightful flair to the overall aesthetic.
