The Collective worked along with York University to furnish the new Student Centre building which is a central point for community life at York University. 

The new Facility is dedicated to serving the cultural, social, educational, organizational and recreational needs of the York community on a non-profit basis. The Student Centre offers spaces such as Meeting rooms, group study areas, recreational spaces, club offices, administrative support offices, commercial spaces and multi-faith prayer rooms available to all students.

The New Student Centre was designed was designed not only for functional purposes, but also to reflect the rich diversity of its students and city.   Many of the features include bicycle parking, showers, green roofs, gender-neutral washrooms, external lighting and landscaping to promote principles of community safety, accessibility and environmental sustainability.

The Collective values their relationship with York University, designing Educational spaces that are highly functional, iconic, safe, accessible, environmentally sustainable and technically innovative.
