Confidential Financial Services Firm

  • Location: Toronto, Ontario
  • Architect: Arcadis
  • Industry: Financial-services

The Collective partnered with Arcadis to renovate and furnish the Toronto corporate office of a confidential financial services provider. Spanning three floors, the updated workspace was designed to support both focused work and collaboration, including breakout zones, meeting rooms, alongside a café, townhall, servery, IT workroom, and wellness room. We curated ancillary furniture tailored to each area’s specific use and design intent, sourcing key pieces from Allseating, Keilhauer, Teknion, and Studio TK to deliver a cohesive, modern workplace environment.

In addition, The Collective partnered with DPI Construction (“DPI”) to install over 1,200 lineal feet of Teknion Tek Vue and 100 lineal feet of Focus acoustic wall systems. A primary construction challenge was managing varying flooring thicknesses throughout the space. To address this, we worked closely with DPI, drywall, and flooring vendors to establish ceiling heights and align floor, wall, and ceiling transitions. In select areas, we leveraged the leveling tolerance of Tek Vue’s base track to accommodate floor height differences, allowing installation to proceed on schedule. This collaborative approach ensured a clean finish and seamless integration across the space.

Targeting LEED Gold certification, the renovated workspace reflects a strong commitment to sustainability and forward-thinking design. Thoughtfully designed to inspire collaboration and adaptability, the environment supports evolving workstyles while aligning with the organization’s long-term vision for a future-ready, people-centered workplace.
