The Collective worked alongside design firm Wright Interior Design and general contractor Owl Interiors to create an innovative and creative workspace for AstraZeneca. The Collective’s project management and design team provided a new, dynamic space for the research and development team, with a specific focus on breakout meeting spaces of various types and styles to accommodate a vast range of work.
The Collective procured and supplied furniture for 66 workstations, 4 conference rooms, 7 meeting rooms of various styles and capacities. To accommodate AstraZeneca’s technology requirements, the first generation of Teknion’s Height Adjustable bench – Livello – was used for the workstation groups. Audience meeting tables, and Sabrina Task and meeting chairs were used throughout the space.
The Collective procured a mix of brands including StudioTK, Keilhauer, Allermuir, Arcadia, and SPEC to furnish collaborative zones, private rooms, and conference-style spaces to accommodate flexible meeting styles.
The finished workspace was brightly coloured using a variety of wall coverings, fabrics, and finishes. AstraZeneca’s branding colours of yellow, purple and turquoise were tastefully used throughout the floor.
