OTPP (“Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan”) relocated its head office from North York to a new 10-floor space in downtown Toronto, consolidating operations across multiple floors while creating a modern, functional, and welcoming workplace for its growing team.

The Collective collaborated with Gensler Toronto to deliver a comprehensive furniture and interior solution, outfitting 12 floors of demountable walls, 10 floors of meeting rooms, collaboration areas, phone booths, and approximately 1,600 custom lockers. Teknion served as the primary furniture provider, supplying demountable walls, meeting tables with integrated power modules, phone booths, planters, and collaborative workstations. Complementary furnishings were sourced from Hightower, Wilkhahn, Suite22, and other leading brands to support the client’s varied workplace needs.

Custom solutions played a central role in this project. Lockers were designed specifically for OTPP’s space, and all meeting room tables were equipped with integrated power modules to support modern technology requirements. The Collective coordinated multiple installation phases over six months to ensure seamless delivery ahead of client occupancy, maintaining quality and timelines across a large-scale, multi-floor rollout.

The new head office exemplifies a contemporary, high-performance workplace tailored to the needs of a leading financial services organization.
