BART Headquarters
The Collective / Metro Contract Group (MCG) collaborated to outfit BART’s headquarters building in downtown Oakland under a tight schedule. The Collective/ MCG’s Account Management and Field Project Management teams coordinated directly with the General Contractor’s schedule, and received oversight and approval from BART. We deployed a Field Project Manager on-site to manage the installation and configuration of the furniture to ensure we met expectations.
The Collective / Metro Contract Group (MCG) procured and installed 844 Teknion workstations, seating, training areas, and ancillary project across 10 floors. The project met a LEED Gold certification.
Under contract with Tuner Construction & SourceBlue, The Collective/MCG furnished a 10 story, 240,000/sf headquarters offices for BART in downtown Oakland in June 2021. The project included furnishing over 900 Teknion workstations, seating, private offices, a command center, conference and training rooms. As one of Turner’s largest minority owned sub-contractor, The Collective completed the project ahead of schedule and on budget.
